SillyTavern

Connect SillyTavern to RelayRouter using the custom [OI]-compatible chat completion source.

SillyTavern can use any [OI]-compatible endpoint. RelayRouter gives you one key for Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Kimi, and the rest of the catalog.

1. Create a key

Create a key on the API keys page and copy it. Keys start with sk-or-v1-.

2. Configure the connection

    Open API Connections

    In SillyTavern, click the plug icon and open API Connections.

    Choose Chat Completion

    Set API to Chat Completion.

    Choose the custom source

    Set Chat Completion Source to Custom ([OI]-compatible).

    Enter the endpoint and key

    Custom Endpoint: https://api.relayrouter.org/v1
    API Key: your sk-or-v1-… key.

    Connect and pick a model

    Click Connect, then choose a model from the list or type an id such as deepseek-v4.1-flash.

Endpoint format

The endpoint must end in /v1 and must not include /chat/completions — SillyTavern appends the path itself. Use Proxy Preset: None.

3. Recommended settings

  • Enable streaming for a faster feel.
  • Keep the context size at or below the model's context window.
  • Use a model with tool support if you rely on function calling.
  • If responses fail with 402, add credit from Billing.

RelayRouter bills each request to your account balance at the serving model's rate. You can monitor spend from the usage page.
